SMOKE JENSON (THE LAST MOUNTIAN MAN)

From his Missouri farm, the boy traveled west. In his hand was a Navy Colt given to him by Jesse James. By his side was the old mountain man named Preacher, who would teach young Smoke Jensen everything he needed to fight like the devil, and die like a man.

And in his heart...was vengeance.
His enemies destroyed everything he'd ever loved.
But they made one mistake.
They let Smoke Jensen live.

I listened to the first in a very well know series, The Last Mountian Man. The book is written by W.W. Johnstone and J.A. Johnstone, I have read the entire Last Mountian Man series, however listening to it in the GRAPHIC AUDIO format is like
reading it for the first time. I highly recommend both reading and listening to your favorite books, if they are available on audio. It is, as advertised, A MOVIE IN YOUR MIND in every seance of the word.
As a cross country truck driver there are many places mentioned in the story that I have seen, this adds tremendously to my enjoyment of the story.
The actors ,that do the characters, in the story bring it to life, you recognize their voice and know which character is speaking, before the narrator tells you.

UPDATE

Ok, well the problems with my truck seem to be fixed, for now. I put it in the Frieghtliner shop in Jackson, Ms. Monday. The first thing wrong, Dallas installed the wrong alternator. Second, the Texarkanna, Tx. Frieghtliner shop replaced the starter, before I got the truck, and wired it up backwards, which drove the whole eletronic system haywire. I got my truck out of the shop Wednesday about 09:00 am. I went to Collins, Ms. and picked up a load of fresh chicken, to delever in Houston, Tx. Thursday morning. After unloading Thursday morning I went to Sugarland, Tx and picked up a load for Scott, La, to be delivered Friday morning. Which catches up with today. I loaded in Saint Gaberial, La. and am currently bound for Mill City, Pa. for Monday morning delevery.

Back in the Shop

I am at Jackson, Ms. waiting for my truck to be repaired at Frieghtliner, again. The alternator that was installed at the Dallas Frieghtliner was the wrong one.

BAD LUCK OR JUST NO LUCK

Well I called the clinic where I was to go to get my mandatory drug test, of course they are closed on Saturday. So after much discussion and thought I was dispatched on a
load picking up in Ft. worth and going to Robert, La.
My alternator, on my new truck, is still not working properly.
I am at Robert, La. setting at a Wal-mart distribution center, waiting for my trailer to be unloaded. I do not have another load as yet, so finding a parking spot for the night will be a challenge to say the least.
